VIDEO: “Introduction to Exponential Growth and Decay”
This video introduces exponential growth and decay. I briefly contrast it to linear growth and decay. I give several examples of exponential growth and decay by building tables and graphing the functions. I introduce the compound interest formula which is an example of exponential growth. I finish by comparing how the growth rate value determines whether there is no growth, there is growth, or there is decay.

Video: Applications of Exponential Growth and Decay
In this video I discuss how to find missing growth/decay rates, how to find average growth/decay rates (like the rate of inflation), half-lives, and how to solve exponential equations using the Desmos graphing calculator.

Video: Exercises Applications of Exponential Growth and Decay_1
In this video I go through some exercises that show how to work problems with half-life, and finding missing growth/decay rates, and finding the time it takes a substance to grow or decay to a certain amount. It is designed to accompany the video “Applications of Exponential Growth and Decay”
