Solving Linear Equations

Video: Intro to Solving 1-Step and Multi-Step Linear Equations

This video looks at the 3 different possible solutions to a linear equation: unique, no solution, and infinitely many solutions. It solves simple 1 step equations and goes up to solving equations with unknowns on both sides and requiring the use of the distributive property and combining like terms.

Video: Intro to Solving Linear Equations with Fractions and Decimals

In this video I look at solving fractional linear equations by multiplying through by the LCM. I solve decimal equations as is. I solve equations that are mixed with decimals and fractions by first converting all decimals to fractions. Finally I look at some equations that are not linear but can be solved using linear equation solving techniques.
